Some of the emails thanking us for the good level of teaching that we have provided our students with during the lockdown, sent by parents of pupils from our school.
Dear Ms Pilar,
I hope this email finds you well. I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate you on the amazing achievements you and your amazing team have made with our kids(Wadie, Fairuz, zeina, Alia ) during this hard time everybody is going through. This online teaching experience have taught us a lot as parents, we have witnessed an incredible journey of our kids blossoming into beautiful independent responsible and strong individuals, thanks to the incredible job their teachers made on a daily basis. The teachers were always there for us. I have never seen my kids so excited for learning despite facing all the academic challenges as it’s their first year in your respectable college and the results are impressive. My kids and I were crying for the last three days of school as we knew that we wouldn’t hear the teachers voices all around the house anymore. It was a very emotional and wonderful experience that I would like to thank you for. You have given us the best opportunity and support to carry on learning in these difficult times. A huge respect to Miss Crawford, her spirit is incredible and she just spreads knowledge and happiness and optimism everywhere.i would also like to thank Miss Henbest for always encouraging the children to believe in themselves, also a huge thank to Miss Shannon who has been through a lot with the little ones in year 1, her patience and kindness is limitless and her pedagogy is special. I would also like to thank the year 9 teachers for the challenges they have been through with our kids. Last but not least thank you for always choosing the best for our children and always putting our children’s interest first. Now I know that I made the right choice to come to Spain and join your amazing and warm hearted family in the British college. We consider ourselves blessed to be part of it. I apologize for the length of the email but I can’t thank you enough.
My wife Laura and I would like to take a moment to thank you for all your hard work and support that you are showing Matteo and his classmates every day during these challenging times.
Over the year we have seen Matteo improve drastically in his ability to speak, write, and read, as well as learn so many interesting facts that he likes to share with us. For example, he asked me the other day what my favorite landmark was and he said his was The Sydney Opera House, the Statue of Liberty and Eiffel Tower! It really shows you are continuing to teach these kids really interesting subject matter despite classes being online.
We are impressed that you have been able to continue teaching the kids from 9am to 4pm virtually over Zoom, especially how difficult it is for kids that age to focus, listen and interact over a video call.
I am sure this is not easy for you or the rest of the staff so we just wanted to say thank you!
Best, Luis, Laura and Matt
